Create a location

A location is a small area or a unit within a store. For example, a shelf.

1. Navigate to the s60001 Stores and Locations screen.

2. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

3. In the Stores grid, select a row.

4. Select anywhere in the Locations grid.

5. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Create.

   In the Locations grid, a blank row is created.

6. Select the General tab, in the Location Id field, enter the unique ID of a location.

7. (Optional) Enter the relevant details in other fields as required. For more information on all the fields, see s60001 Field descriptions.

8. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.

   The location is created.
