Create a bid due date extension request

Create a bid due date extension request to set a new due date for suppliers to submit the quotes for a Request For Quote (RFQ).

Navigate to the s50020 Followup on Request for Quote screen.

To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

In the Request for Quotation grid, select a row.

On the s50020 menu, in the RFQ Requests group, from the Create request dropdown, select Bid Due Date Extension.
The w014 RFQ Bid Due Date Extension wizard appears.

In the Bid Due Date page, in the Extension section, from the Requested Bid Due Date dropdown, select the new due date for the bid, and then select Next.

(Optional) In the Select the Quotes Requesting Extension page, in the grid, select the required quotes, and then select Next.

In the Select the Quotes To Open page, perform one of the following:

For the project related to the selected RFQ, if the approval workflow is created using the Work Tasks approval engine, then from the Approval Group dropdown, select the ID of the required approval group to approve the bid due date extension request.

For the project related to the selected RFQ, if the approval workflow is created using the Windows Workflow Foundation (WWF) approval engine, then from the Approver dropdown, select the ID of the required approver to approve the bid due date extension request.

Select Finish.
In the Details grid, in the Requests tab, in the Requests grid, the bid due date extension request appears with the value in the Status field as New.
