Copy a PO to a project

Copy a Purchase Order (PO) from the source project to a target project.

Navigate to the s50018 Purchase Order screen.

To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

In the Purchase Order Header grid, select a PO you want to copy.

On the s50018 menu, in the Copy group, select To Project.
The d0109 Copy PO to PO dialog appears.

From the Project dropdown, select the ID of the target project.

In the Offset field, enter a value to offset the requirement dates in the PO.

From the Required on Site at dropdown, select the date when the materials are required on site.

Perform any of the following:

To copy the PO positions from the source project to the target project, select the Include Position checkbox.

To copy the documents related to the PO from the source project to the target project, select the Include Document checkbox.

To copy the attachments related to the PO from the source project to the target project, select the Include Attachment checkbox.

To copy the payment plans related to the PO from the source project to the target project, select the Include Payment Plans checkbox.

To copy the vendor deliverable requirements schedule related to the PO from the source project to the target project, select the Include VDRS checkbox.

To copy the additional information related to the PO from the source project to the target project, select the Include Add info checkbox.

To validate the PO copy, select Test.
A pop-up window displaying the test result appears.

Perform one of the following as required:

If the validation is successful, select Ok.
The pop-up window closes.

If the validation is not successful, select Ok, and select the Details tab for more information. Perform the necessary actions and validate the copy again.

Select Copy.
The number of PO positions that are copied, not copied, and included in the copy are listed in the Summary tab. For more information, see the Details tab.
The PO is copied from the source project to the target project.
To save the copied PO

In the Purchase Order Header grid, select the new PO.

In the Position grid, select the Purchase Order Position tab.

In the Purchase Order Position grid, select a row.

Select the Delivery tab and perform the following:

From the Required on Site at dropdown, select the date when the materials are required on site.

From the Contract Delivery Date dropdown, select the delivery date agreed between the buyer and the supplier.

From the Forecast Delivery Date dropdown, select the date when the ordered items are expected for delivery at the location set in the delivery terms.
Note: Repeat step 3 for each row.

(Optional) Enter the relevant details in other fields as required. For more information on all the fields, s50018 Field descriptions.

To save the changes, on the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.
