Assign a production group to a project

A production group is a type of human resource related to the construction work in a project. You can assign a production group to a project and define the cost of man-hours required by the project. The cost of man-hours is included in the total budget of a project.

Navigate to the s10016 Project Budget Calculation Setup screen.

To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

In the Projects grid, select a row.
Tip: If you want to include a project in the budget calculation for all projects, ensure that in the General tab, the Status and the Collect actual costs for budget checkboxes are selected for the project.

Select anywhere in the Production Groups grid.

On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Create.
In the Production Groups grid, a blank row is created.

Select the General tab and perform the following:

From the Production Group dropdown, select the ID of a production group.
You can select
to view the details about a production group in the d0389 Resource Selection dialog.

In the Man-Hour Price field, enter the cost of man-hours related to the production group.

On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.
The production group is assigned to the project.
