Create a shipping duration

Shipping duration is the number of days required to complete the shipping of an item in a specific shipping condition.

In the s51004 Expediting screen, if the shipping conditions of an expedite item (such as the set of countries, delivery term, transport term, and so on) match the conditions of shipping duration defined in the s51011 Shipping Duration screen, the value in the Milestone Duration field of the expedite item is overwritten with the shipping duration from the s51011 Shipping Duration screen. To update the milestone duration of an expedite item with the shipping duration, in the s52002 Inspection / Expediting screen, ensure the F (Fetch Duration) checkbox is selected.

1. Navigate to the s51011 Shipping Duration screen.

2. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

3. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Create.

   In the Shipping Durations grid, a blank row is created.

4. Select the General tab and perform the following:

   • From the Delivery Term dropdown, select the ID of the required delivery term.

   • In the Duration field, enter the number of days required to complete the shipping of an item.

   • From the From Country dropdown, select the code to identify a country from where the items are shipped.

   • From the To Country dropdown, select the code to identify a country to which the items are shipped.

5. (Optional) Enter the relevant details in other fields as required. For more information, see s51011 Field description.

6. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.

   The shipping duration is created.
