When you create a drawing, the default External Status of the drawing is Preliminary. To use the drawing in a part list and other screens, change the status to Fully Validated.
-
Navigate to the s20012 Drawing Catalogue screen.
-
In the Current Project control block, from the Project dropdown, select a project ID.
-
To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.
-
In the Drawings grid, select a row.
-
On the s20012 menu, in the Status group, from the External Status dropdown, select one of the following:
-
Preliminary: Indicates the default status of a drawing. At the Preliminary stage, the drawing is not available for use throughout AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management.
-
Fully Validated: Indicates the drawing is available for use throughout AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management.
-
Not to be Used: Indicates the drawing is not available for use due to a temporary restriction (the supply of materials is restricted or alternatives are being evaluated) or a permanent hold (the drawing is obsolete). If the drawing is already assigned to a Part List (PL) or a Purchase Order (PO), you can continue to use the drawing. However, the drawing is not available for addition to any new PL or PO.
-
Ready For Delete: Indicates you can delete the drawing in case a clean up of the reference data is performed. At the Ready For Delete stage, the drawing is not available for use throughout AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management.
-
-
(Optional) To revert the status update, on the s20012 menu, in the Status group, select Revert.
-
On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.
The External Status of the drawing is updated.
