Update the status of a store or a location

Update the status of a store or a location to indicate whether the store or the location is open or closed. When the Status checkbox related to a store or a location is selected, the store or the location is open and available for use throughout AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management. When the Status checkbox related to a store or a location is cleared, the store or the location is closed.

By default, the Status checkbox related to a store and a location is selected.

When you update the status of a store to closed, the status of all the locations related to the store is updated to closed and you cannot further update the status of the locations. If you again update the status of the store to open, the status of all the related locations remain closed, and you can manually update the status of each location to open.

To update the status of a store

  1. Navigate to the s60001 Stores and Locations screen.

  2. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

  3. In the Stores grid, select a row.

  4. On the s60001 menu, in the Change Status group, select one of the following:

    • Status Open: To indicate that a store is open.

      In the General tab, the Status checkbox is selected.

    • Status Closed: To indicate that the store is closed.

      In the General tab, the Status checkbox is cleared.

  5. To save changes, on the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.

To update the status of a location

  1. Navigate to the s60001 Stores and Locations screen.

  2. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

  3. In the Stores grid, select a row.

  4. In the Locations grid, select a row.

  5. On the s60001 menu, in the Change Status group, select one of the following:

    • Status Open: To indicate that a location is open.

      In the General tab, the Status checkbox is selected.

    • Status Closed: To indicate that the location is closed.

      In the General tab, the Status checkbox is cleared.

  6. To save changes, on the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.
