Add a user to an approval group

Add an authorized user defined in the s00003 Users screen to an approval group. To add a user to an approval group, in the s00052 Approval Flows screen, in the Approval Flows grid, ensure the value defined in the Workflow Approval Engine field is WWF (Windows Workflow). If the value defined in the Workflow Approval Engine field is Work Tasks, the required approvers are predefined in AVEVA Work Tasks.

A user is automatically granted approval authorization when the user is added to an approval group.

  1. Navigate to the s00051 Approval Groups screen.

  2. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

  3. In the Approval Groups grid, select a row.

  4. Select anywhere in the Approval Group Delegates grid.

  5. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Create.

    In the Approval Group Delegates grid, a blank row is created.

  6. Select the General tab, from the User Id dropdown, select the ID of the required user.

  7. (Optional) Enter the relevant details in other fields as required. For more information on all the fields, see s00051 Field descriptions.

  8. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.

    The user is added to the selected approval group.
