Current Project control block

Field

Description

Project

The ID of a project related to a fabricate.

Description

The description of a project related to a fabricate.

Fabrication Project

Indicates a project is a fabrication project. In a fabrication project, you can schedule fabricates from multiple projects for construction. For each fabricate in a project, you have to define a standard material in the s20017 Fabricate Catalogue screen to replace the standard material with the fabricate in part lists, pallet lists, and so on.

Activity

The ID of a work package related to a work order to which a fabricate is assigned.

Start Date

The planned start date of a work package.

Finish Date

The planned finish date of a work package.

Work Order

The ID of a work order to which a fabricate is assigned.

Start Date

The planned start date of a work order.

Finish Date

The planned finish date of a work order.

Fabricates tab

The following table describes the fields in the Fabricates grid.

Field

Description

SI

Status Indicator: Indicates the status of a record related to validation errors, warnings, and updates.

Sel Qty

Selected Quantity: The quantity of a fabricate assigned to a work order.

Unit

The unit of measure for a fabricate.

A

Alarm: Indicates that the materials required to construct the number of fabricates entered in the Selected Quantity field is insufficient.

Fabricate

The ID of a fabricate related to a project.

Description

The description of a fabricate related to a project.

Schedule fabrn in proj plan

Schedule fabricate in project plan: Indicates you can assign the materials required to construct a fabricate defined in the s21015 Fabricate Part Lists screen to individual activities in the s11001 Project Gantt View screen. If the Schedule fabrn in proj plan checkbox is selected, you cannot assign the fabricate to a work order for fabricate construction.

LT

Lead Time: The estimated number of days required to construct a fabricate.

Fab Type

Fabricate Type: The type of fabricate. For example, hull assembly, pipe elbow, and so on.

Product Code

The product code of a fabricate. A product code groups similar materials with default values. For example, a group of materials with a same default value for norm hours.

Manf Norm

Manufacture Norm Hours: The number of hours required to manufacture a fabricate of a particular unit. Manufacturing norm hours are related to the product code of a fabricate.

On WP

On Work Package: The quantity of a fabricate with the status PlanningOngoing which is assigned to a work package.

On WO

On Work Order: The quantity of a fabricate with the status PlanningOngoing which is assigned to a work order. If the status of a fabricate assigned to a work order is PlanningOngoing, the fabricate is not reflected in the Fabricate Balance grid. The fabricate quantity is reflected in the Fabricate Balance grid only when the status of the fabricate is Committed.

Date

The last date by when you have to start the construction of a fabricate to avoid the shortage in the materials required to construct the fabricate. If the Date field is empty, one of the following situations is indicated:

  • The quantity of the required materials is always sufficient regardless of when you start the construction of the fabricate.

  • The material requirement is not defined in the s11001 Project Gantt View and s70001 Construction Gantt View screens.

Site

The site on which a fabricate is required for construction.

Balance

The balance quantity of a fabricate available on a site. If the value in the Balance field is a positive number, the number of planned and constructed fabricates on a site are more than the planned number of fabricates. If the value in the Balance field is a negative number, the number of fabricates on the site are insufficient.

Rel MC

Related Material Category: The category of the material which is replaced by a fabricate. For example, a standard material or a project component.

Rel Item Id

Related Item Id: The ID of the material which is replaced by a fabricate.

Rel Item Description

Related Item Description: The description of the material which is replaced by a fabricate.

The following table describes the fields in the Fabricate Balance grid.

Field

Description

Sequence

The default sequence number of a material status code related to a fabricate.

MS-Code

The material status code related to a fabricate. The material status code determines the nature of a material transaction. For example, if the value in the MS-Code field is PL, the transaction is related to a part list.

Transaction Id

The material transaction ID related to a fabricate.

Sys

System: The ID of a system related to a fabricate.

Activity

The ID of a work package related to a fabricate.

Cor

Activity Correction Time: The correction time related to the start date of an activity.

Date

The date when a fabricate is required on a site related to a transaction. For transactions related to advance bill of materials and part lists, the date is calculated according to the activity start date and correction time. For transactions related to work orders, the date is the calculated finish date of the work orders.

Quantity

The quantity of a fabricate required on a site related to a transaction.

Stock Unit

The unit of measure in which a fabricate is stored and managed in stock.

Balance

The balance quantity of a fabricate available on a site related to a material transaction. If the value in the Balance field is a positive number, the number of fabricates on a site are more than the required number of fabricates. If the value in the Balance field is a negative number, the number of fabricates on the site are insufficient.

Fabricates on WorkOrder tab

The following table describes the fields in the Fabricates on WO grid.
