Lock a piping MTO line

Lock a piping Material Take-Off (MTO) line. Only the user who locked the piping MTO line can make changes. To make changes, you can unlock the piping MTO line. For more information, see Unlock a piping MTO line.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, complete the following:

In the MTO Lines grid, in the General tab, perform the following:

In the MTO Status field, ensure the piping MTO line is not in the Superseded or Retired status.

Ensure the MTO Locked for Updates checkbox is cleared.

Ensure you have the Allow Lock Of Mto or Full Access UI rights to the s22040 Piping MTO screen. For more information on how to define UI access rights, see Assign UI rights to a user role.
To lock a piping MTO line

Navigate to the s22040 Piping MTO screen.

In the Current Project control block, from the Project dropdown, select the ID of the required project.

To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

In the MTO Lines grid, select a row.

On the s22040 menu, in the Workflow group, from the Lock/Unlock dropdown, select Lock.
In the MTO Lines grid, in the General tab, the MTO Locked for Updates checkbox is selected.

To save the changes, on the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.
