Create an external source application

Create the identification details of an external source application specific to AVEVA, a third party application (recognized as a valid data source in the s22050 Data Import screen), or an AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management API.

1. Navigate to the s00033 External Source Applications screen.

2. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

3. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Create.

   In the Application grid, a blank row is created.

4. Select the General tab, in the Source App field, enter the unique ID of an external source application.

5. (Optional) Enter the relevant details in other fields as required. For more information on all the fields, see s00033 Field descriptions.

6. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.

   The external source application is created.
