Create a checking list with the material filter method

Add items to a checking list using the material filter method. For a location, you can filter and add specific types of items to a checking list such as standard materials, project components, various materials, and so on.

  1. Navigate to the s60019 Inventory Checking screen.

  2. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

  3. On the s60019 menu, in the Create/Modify Checking List group, select Create Checking Lists.

    The d0049 Create Inventory Check List dialog appears.

  4. In the Basic Settings section, from the Site Id dropdown, select the ID of the site from which you want to add items to the checking list.

  5. In the List Definition Method section, select Use Material Filters.

  6. In the Material Filters section, perform any of the following:

    • To include the standard materials, select the Standard Material checkbox.

    • To include the project components, select the Project Components checkbox.

    • To include the fabricates, select the Fabricates checkbox.

    • To include the hull plates, select the Hull Plates checkbox.

    • To include the hull profiles, select the Hull Profiles checkbox.

    • To include various materials, select the Various Material checkbox.

    • To include the supplementary items, select the Supplementary Items checkbox.

    • To include items of a particular class, from the Class dropdown, select the ID of a class.

    • To include items with a shelf life, select the Shelf Life Materials Only checkbox, and perform any of the following:

      • To include items with an expiry date after a specific date, from the Expiry Date From dropdown, select a date from when you want to include an item.

      • To include items with an expiry date before a specific date, from the Expiry Date To dropdown, select a date till when you want to include an item.

  7. In the Selected Locations section, perform one of the following:

    • To add items from the selected locations based on the material filters, select Include Selected Locations Only.

      1. Select Add Locations.

        The d0047 Storehouse Location Selection dialog appears.

      2. In the Storehouse Locations grid, select a row.

      3. Select the location icon icon.

        The selected locations appear in the Selected Items grid.

      4. Select Ok.

        In the d0049 Create Inventory Check List dialog, in the Selected Locations section, in the grid, the locations are added.

      1. To add items from all the locations in the site based on the material filters, select Include All Storehouse Locations.

        For the selected site, all the storehouse locations are selected.

    • (Optional) To check the number of items in the checking list, select Test.

      You can only create a checking list, if in the Test Results section, in the Storehouse Locations and the Checking List Lines fields, the value is greater than zero.

    • Perform one of the following:

      • To create a checking list with the value in the Status field as PLANNED, select Prepare List.

        For a checking list in the planning stage, the items are not added to the checking list.

        A pop-up window appears.

        1. Read the message and select Ok.

        2. Select Exit.

        1. To create a checking list with the value in the Status field as INPROGRESS, select Create List.

        The checking list is created.
