Repair an MNC for a material instance

Repair a Material Non-Conformance (MNC) related to a material instance. You can also repair an MNC in the s60007 Maintain Material Non-Conformance screen.

1. Navigate to the s60045 Edit Material Details screen.

2. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

3. In the Material Holding grid, select a row.

4. In the Material Details grid, select a row.

5. In the Material Details grid, select the MNC tab, in the grid, select a row.

6. On the s60045 menu, in the MNC group, select Repair.

   A pop-up window appears.

7. Perform one of the following:

   • If a material holding has an MNC, perform one of the following:

     • To repair the MNC and keep the material details, read the warning message, and then select Yes, keep material details.

     • To repair the MNC and delete the material details, read the warning message, and then select No, delete material details.

       From the Material Details grid, the selected row is deleted.

   • If the holding has other material details along with MNC, read the warning message, and then select Yes, Repair MNC.

     For the selected material instance, in the Material Details grid, in the MNC tab, the row with the MNC details is deleted.

     The MNC for the selected material instance is repaired.
