Create a sequence number format

A sequence number format is a project specific ID generator.

1. Navigate to the s10022 Numbering Setup screen.

2. In the Current Project control block, from the Project dropdown, select the required project ID.

3. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

4. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Create.

   In the Numbering Sequence Formats grid, a blank row is created.

5. Select the General tab and perform the following:

   • From the Name dropdown, select the name of a sequence number format.

     The name is the concept for which you create a sequence number format.

   • In the Description field, enter the description of the sequence number format.

6. (Optional) Enter the relevant details in other fields as required. For more information on all the fields, see s10022 Field descriptions.

7. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.

   The sequence number format is created.
