Register a material certificate from s60028

A certificate issued for an item validates the quality and compliance of the item upon delivery. You can view all the material and included certificates for an item in the d0089 Register Certificate dialog. You can also register a certificate in the s60003 Certificates and Charge screen.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, complete the following:

  1. In the Delivery Note grid, in the General tab, perform the following:

    1. In the Rec Type field, ensure the value is not Shipping Note Receipt.

    2. In the Receipt Status field, ensure the value is not READY or RECEIVED.

  2. For a delivery note, in the Position grid, perform one of the following:

    • For a delivery note of receipt type Free Receipt, in the Free Issue Material tab, in the Free Issue Material grid, in the General tab, in the Received Qty field, ensure a value is defined.

    • For a delivery note of receipt type PO/MMT Receipt, in the Po Items tab, in the Po items grid, in the General tab, in the Received Qty field, ensure a value is defined.

To register a material certificate from s60028

  1. Navigate to the s60028 Stock item Delivery Registration screen.

  2. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

  3. In the Delivery Note grid, select a row.

  4. In the Position grid, perform one of the following:

    • If the receipt type of the delivery note is PO/MMT Receipt, in the Po Items tab, in the Po Items grid, select a row.

    • If the receipt type of the delivery note is Free Receipt, in the Free Issue Material tab, in the Free Issue Material grid, select a row.

  5. On the s60028 menu, in the Position Details group, select Register Certificate.

    The d0089 Register Certificate dialog appears.

  6. In the Certificate section, select Create.

  7. In the grid, enter the relevant details in the following fields:

    • Certificate Id: The ID of the certificate attached to an item.

    • Qty: The quantity of the item registered to a certificate.

    Note: To define multiple material certificates, repeat step 6 and 7.

  8. (Optional) Enter the relevant details in other fields as required. For more information on all the fields, see s60028 Field descriptions.

  9. Select Save and Exit.

    In the Material Details tab, the material certificate is added.

  10. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.

    The material certificate is registered.
