Add a milestone to a schedule template

A milestone is an activity, a requirement, or a task to track the inspection or expediting progress of a purchase order.

  1. Navigate to the s52001 Inspection /Expedite Schedule Templates screen.

  2. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

  3. In the Inspection Schedule Templates grid, select a row.

  4. Select anywhere in the Inspection Schedule Milestones grid.

  5. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Create.

    In the Inspection Schedule Milestones grid, a blank row is created.

  6. Select the General tab and perform the following:

    • From the Header/Item dropdown, select whether the schedule template is a header or an item. The values are: Header and Item.

    • In the Description field, enter the description of a milestone or a lead time related to the schedule template.

  7. (Optional) Enter the relevant details in other fields as required. For more information on all the fields, see s52001 Field descriptions.

  8. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.

    The milestone is added to the schedule template.
