Create an MR filter

Create a filter for a Material Requisition (MR) to determine the Material-Take Off (MTO) items or part list items that you want to relate to an MR. The MR filter finds all supply responsibility rules using a requisition process code on a project, and finds all MTO line items linked to the supply responsibility rules.

  1. Navigate to the s40001 Requisition Register screen.

  2. In the Current Project control block, from the Project dropdown, select the ID of the required project.

  3. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

  4. In the MR Numbers grid, select a row.

  5. On the s40001 menu, in the MR Setup group, select Edit MR Filter.

    The d0228 MR Filter Builder dialog appears.

  6. In the Filter Properties section, from the dropdown, select one of the following:

    • And: To filter with all the properties.

    • Or: To filter with one of the properties.

  7. Select the An icon to create a baseline in a project plan. icon and perform the following:

    • From the entity dropdown, select the entity for which you want to apply the filter properties.

    • From the property dropdown, select the field related to the entity for which you want to apply the filter properties.

    • From the representation dropdown, select the value of the attribute representation related to the property.

    • From the operator dropdown, select the operator required to filter data.

    • From the value dropdown, select the data value with which the filter is performed.

      Note: To add a new property, select the An icon to create a baseline in a project plan. icon and repeat step 6.

  8. Select Test.

    A pop-up window with the MTO items or part list items found from the filter appear.

  9. Select Ok.

    The MR filter is saved for the selected MR.
