Merge records

The Merge feature resolves situations where multiple users update the same record simultaneously. When two users modify the same record, a pop-up window appears.

For updates that conflict, use the d0005 Entity Merge dialog to compare both the changes. The Merge feature then combines the information into a single, updated record that includes the changes you choose to keep.

For updates that do not conflict, the system performs the merge automatically.
