Update the baseline date of a procurement schedule

The baseline date is the planned expected delivery date of a procurement schedule. Update the baseline date of a procurement schedule.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, complete the following:

• Ensure you have the Can Set Baseline UI right for the s50037 Procurement Schedules screen. For more information, see Assign UI rights to a user role.

• Ensure you have entered relevant details in the Forecast field of the procurement schedule and Duration field of the milestone.

To update the baseline date of a procurement schedule

1. Navigate to the s50037 Procurement Schedules screen.

2. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

3. In the Procurement Schedules grid, select a row.

   Ensure only one schedule is selected. Ensure the schedule status is Open or Change.

4. On the s50037 menu, in the Scheduling group, select Update Baseline.

   In the Procurement Schedules grid, in the General tab, the date from the Forecast field is copied to the Baseline field. You can also update the Baseline field manually.

   in the Procurement Schedule Milestones grid, in the General tab, the date from the Duration field is copied to the Baselined Duration field.

5. To save the changes, on the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.
