Add fabricates to a site MTO

Add predefined fabricates from the catalogue to a site Material Take-Off (MTO).

Prerequisites

Before you begin, complete the following:

  • In the Site MTO grid, in the General tab, if the value in the Origin field of a site MTO is PMTO or GMTO, perform the following:

    1. In the Status tab, in the Engineering Update field, ensure the value is Ongoing or Changed.

    2. In the Status tab, in the MTO Status field, ensure the value is Open.

  • In the Site MTO grid, in the General tab, if the value in the Origin field of a site MTO is Manual, then in the Status tab, in the MTO Status field, ensure the value is Open.

To add fabricates to a site MTO

  1. Navigate to the s23001 Site MTO screen.

  2. In the Current Material control block, from the Project dropdown, select the ID of the required project.

  3. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

  4. In the Site MTO grid, select a row.

  5. On the s23001 menu, in the Add Position group, from the From Catalogue dropdown, select Fabricates.

    The d0122 Fabricated Item Selection dialog appears.

  6. To refresh the dialog, select the F5 key.

    The fabricates in the Fully Validated status appear.

  7. In the Fabricates grid, select one or more materials, and then select the Enter key.

    The selected materials appear in the SelectedFabricate grid.

  8. In the SelectedFabricate grid, in the Quantity field, enter the required quantity for each material.

  9. Select Insert.

    The materials appear in the Material Details grid.

  10. (Optional) Enter the relevant details in other fields as required. For more information on all the fields, see s23001 Field descriptions.

  11. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.

    The fabricates are added to the site MTO.
