Create a project document type

Use a project document type to add information about a Vendor Deliverable Requirements Schedule (VDRS) in the s40006 Standard VDRS screen and the s50016 Technical Material Requisition screen.

  1. Navigate to the s40003 Project Document Types screen.

  2. In the Current Project control block, from the Project dropdown, select the required project ID.

  3. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

  4. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Create.

    In the Document Types grid, a blank row is created.

  5. Select the General tab and enter the relevant details in the following fields:

    • Document Type Code: The unique code to identify a document type.

    • Description: The description of a document type.

  6. (Optional) Enter the relevant details in other fields as required. For more information on all the fields, see s40003 Field descriptions.

  7. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.

    The project document type is created.
