Create a part list header for a drawing.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, complete the following:

• Ensure the status of the project related to the drawing is Closed.

• Ensure the External Status of the drawing is Fully Validated.

• Ensure the Status (S) checkbox of the drawing is selected.

• Ensure the Applicable to Part List (PL) checkbox of the drawing is selected.

• Ensure the Part List Exists (PE) checkbox of the drawing is cleared.

• Ensure all changes to the drawing are saved.

To create a part list header for a drawing

1. Navigate to the s20012 Drawings Catalogue screen.

2. In the Current Project control block, from the Project dropdown, select a project ID.

3. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

4. In the Drawings grid, select a row.

5. On the Home menu, in the Actions group, select Create Part List Header.

   The d0032 Create Part List Header dialog appears.

6. (Optional) In the Options section, perform the following:

   • To copy the installation activity information of the drawing to the part list header, select the Use Installation Activity checkbox.

   • To copy the system number of the drawing to the part list, select the Use System checkbox.

7. Select Save.

   The part list header for the selected drawing is created.
