Create a release inspection visit to record the physical release of the items in a Purchase Order (PO). The release inspection visit records the completion of the inspection for the items in a PO. If an item passes inspection, you can issue an Inspection Release Certificate (IRC), release the item, and ship the item for construction. If an item fails inspection, you can issue a Non-Release Certificate (NRC) and allocate the item to another inspection visit. If a failed item is urgently required for construction, then you can issue an IRC and an NRC for the item, and inspect the item again after remedial work.
To release the PO items in stages, you can create multiple release inspection visits for the PO.
Before you create an inspection visit for a PO, ensure the Inspection Required checkbox is selected for the PO in the s50018 Purchase Order screen.

-
To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.
