Add a buyer to a buyer group

A buyer is responsible for the purchase requirements when a purchase order is created. A buyer within a buyer group operates and purchases requirements for a group assigned to the buyer. Add one or more authorized buyers to a buyer group from the s00003 Users screen. You can add a buyer to one or more buyer groups.

  1. Navigate to the s50023 Buyer Group screen.

  2. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

  3. In the Buyer Group grid, select a row.

  4. Select anywhere in the Buyers grid.

  5. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Create.

    In the Buyers grid, a blank row is created.

  6. Select the General tab, from the Authorised Buyer dropdown, select the ID of a buyer.

  7. (Optional) Enter the relevant details in other fields as required. For more information on all the fields, see s50023 Field descriptions.

  8. To save the changes, on the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.
