Copy a cost account breakdown structure to a project

Copy a cost account breakdown structure from a source project to a target project.

Navigate to the s10005 Set-Up Cost Structure and Accounts screen.

In the Current Project control block, from the Project dropdown, select the ID of the required project.

To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

On the s10005 menu, in the Actions group, select Copy Cost Account.
The d0031 Copy Cost Account Structure dialog appears.

From the Target Project dropdown, select the ID of the target project.
In the Options section, the copy checkboxes are available based on the selected target project.

In the Options section, perform any of the following:

To copy the hierarchical cost account structure to the target project, select the Copy Structure checkbox.

To copy all the cost accounts to the target project, select the Copy Cost Account Numbers checkbox.

To copy the original estimate values of all the cost accounts to the target project, select the Copy Orig Est Values checkbox.

To copy the original estimate split values of all the cost accounts to the target project, select the Copy Orig Est Split Values checkbox.

To copy the budget values of all the cost accounts to the target project, select the Copy Budget Values checkbox.

To copy the budget split values of all the cost accounts to the target project, select the Copy Budget Split Values checkbox.

To copy the forecast values of all the cost accounts to the target project, select the Copy Forecast Values checkbox.

To copy the forecast split values of all the cost accounts to the target project, select the Copy Forecast Split Values checkbox.

Select Save.
The s10005 Set-Up Cost Structure and Accounts screen is refreshed. The Current Project control block is updated with the details of the target project.
The cost account breakdown structure is copied from the source project to the target project.
