Update the status of a picking list

Update the status of a picking list. While creating a picking list, the default value in the Picking List Status field is Picking List Created. The various statuses of a picking list are as follows:

Picking List Created: Indicates a picking list is generated.

Picking List Ready: Indicates a picking list is ready for picking and the system is setup to use access rights to perform the final transactions.

Picking List Picked: Indicates a picking list is picked. The value in the Picked Quantity field is validated against the holding quantity of an item to check if any changes were made since the picking list was generated.
Before you begin, in the Line Items grid, in the Items tab, in the Items grid, in the General tab, in the Pick Quantity field, ensure a value is defined.

Navigate to the s60031 Picking Lists screen.

To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

In the Picking List grid, select a row.

In the Line Items grid, select the Items tab.

In the Items tab, select a row.

On the s60031 menu, in the Actions group, from the Workflow dropdown, perform one of the following:

To indicate a picking list is not ready for picking, select Not Ready.
In the Picking List grid, in the General tab, the Picking List Ready checkbox is cleared.

To indicate a picking list ready for picking, select Ready.
In the Picking List grid, in the General tab, the Picking List Ready checkbox is selected.

To update the status of a picking list from the created stage to the picked stage, select Pick.
In the Picking List grid, in the General tab, the value in the Picking List Status field is updated to Picking List Picked.
You cannot modify a picking list after the picking list is picked.

(Optional) To undo the workflow update, on the s60031 menu, in the Actions group, from the Workflow dropdown, select Undo Workflow Actions.

To save the changes, on the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.
