Copy a procurement schedule to a project

Copy a procurement schedule to the same project or another project. A milestone or a lead time is available for a target project if the milestone or the lead time have the same ID as the target project. The new procurement schedule has the same Title, Type, and items, but the project setting and ID is updated as per the target project.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, complete the following:

Ensure you have the Can Set Baseline UI right for the s50037 Procurement Schedules screen. For more information, see Assign UI rights to a user role.

Ensure all changes on a procurement schedule are saved before you copy the schedule to a project.
To copy a procurement schedule to a project

Navigate to the s50037 Procurement Schedules screen.

To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

In the Procurement Schedules grid, select the procurement schedule you want to copy.
Ensure only one schedule is selected.

On the s50037 menu, in the Copy group, select Copy Procurement Schedule to Project.
The d0148 Copy Procurement Schedule to Project dialog appears.

In the Schedule section, perform the following:

From the Target Project dropdown, select the target project.

From the Target Id dropdown, select the ID of the target procurement schedule.

From the Target Type dropdown, select the type of the target procurement schedule. There are four types: COMP, M, MR, and TMR.

(Optional) If the selected procurement schedule contains corporate milestones or lead times, in the Corporate section, select one of the following:

Keep corporate milestones corporate: The milestones or lead times that were defined as corporate in the selected procurement schedule remain defined as corporate in the target project.

Copy corporate milestones to project: All the milestones or lead times in the selected procurement schedule are defined as project in the target project.

To validate the procurement schedule copy, select Test.
A pop-up window displaying the test result appears.

Perform one of the following as required:

If the validation is successful, select OK.
The pop-up window closes.

If the validation is not successful, select OK, and select the Details tab for more information. Perform the necessary actions and validate the copy again.

Select Copy.
The number of procurement schedule, milestones, and lead times copied and not copied are listed in the Summary tab. For more information, see the Details tab.
The procurement schedule is copied from the source project to the target project.
To save the copied procurement schedule

In the Procurement Schedules grid, select the procurement schedule you copied.

(Optional) Enter the relevant details in other fields as required. For more information on all the fields, see s50037 Field descriptions.

On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.
