The CMX Persistence Store is responsible for publishing updates to the RealTime database (RTDB).
For each configured system, the CMX Persistence Store running on the Hot RealTime service, registers itself as a persistence store for the local system’s RTDB topic space. This topic space is defined as everything under the <system>.realtime.db space.
Where:
-
<system> is the name of the local system (for example, west.realtime.db).
When the service fails over, the following occurs:
-
The formerly Hot service de-registers itself as the persistence store.
-
The newly Hot service registers itself as the new persistence store.
This sequence ensures that there is only one RTDB publisher at a time.
