Sending systems

If the system sends Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services (AD LDS) data to other systems, then it will periodically check for changes in AD LDS data and send the updates to the receiving systems (the default period is every 5 minutes). If the changes need to be immediately sent to all receiving systems, then use the Replicate Recent Changes action menu item, as shown in the above figure.

Notes: A sending system may also be a receiving system and may be subject to the restrictions imposed on a receiving system.

Depending on your system's configuration, it could be responsible for either sending AD LDS data or receiving AD LDS data.
