Deploy the project

Once you have finished creating your report and building your project, you need to deploy the solution.

Note: The location of the report server where you will deploy the solution is located in the properties of your report project.

To build the solution

1. Open your project in Microsoft Visual Studio.

2. In the Solution Explorer, right-click the report and select Deploy.

   

   The Reporting Services Login dialog box appears.

   

3. In the Reporting Services Login dialog box:

   1. Enter your user name into the User name field.

   2. Enter your password in the Password field.

   3. Select OK.

   When the deployment is complete the status will appear in the Output pane in Microsoft Visual Studio.
