Disable Alarm Parking for a point

Note: In the following procedure, an analog point is used as an example. The procedure is similar for configuring rate, flowTotalConfig, tank, and almlimit points. The Inhibits tab in the analog Row Edit dialog box is opened through the analog table listing in the Advanced Database Editor (ADE). For general information on ADE, and further information on the analog table, refer to the Advanced Database Editor (ADE) Administrator documentation and RealTime tables, respectively.

To disable Alarm Parking for a point

1. Navigate to the Alarming tab in the analog Row Edit dialog box.

   

2. In the Maximum period of time (min) field, enter 0.

   When Alarm Parking is disabled on a point, Controllers will not be able to access the point's Alarm Parking Control dialog box. For further information, refer to the AVEVA Enterprise SCADA RealTime Controller documentation.
