Note: For information on overriding default configuration settings, refer to Modify configuration settings.
You can change the default location of the email text file by editing a startup script.
To change the default location of the email text file
-
In the %DNADataRoot%\RealTime\config\Settings directory, either create or open the RealTime_monitorEmailAlarms.json file.
-
Update the following key as indicated:
"EmailPath": "%DNADataRoot%\\%DNASiloName%\\temp\\"
Important: In order for the override to work, check for the presence of, or create, the <EmailPath>\CustomApps\EmailAlarming folder. For example, if you set "EmailPath" to "C:\\temp\\", ensure that the following folder structure exists: C:\temp\CustomApps\EmailAlarming.
Ensure that the final backslashes are present at the end of the location. In other words, "EmailPath": "C:\\temp\\", not "EmailPath": "C:\\temp". -
Restart the RealTime service for the changes to take effect.
-
Repeat the above procedure on all other RealTime servers.
