Edit the Accumulator database

This section explains how to add an accum record to or edit an accum record in the Accumulator (Accum) database.

Event requests will be processed every 5 minutes and will not process those events for the first 10 minutes at the top of the hour (by default) to avoid deadlock scenarios. Therefore you cannot edit or display newly created or modified Historical records in the easy eXtended Operator Station (ezXOS) dialog boxes or windows until the top of the hour has passed.

To edit the Accumulator database

1. On the Navigation menu, select Tools > Historical Edit > Accumulator Edit.

   The Accumulator Hour Editor opens.

   

2. Use the filters to populate the Point field with the desired point.

3. There are two choices to open the Accumulator Update dialog box.

   • Select Add to create a new record.

   • To modify an existing record: select the desired Start Time and End Time, select Search, then select the row header of the desired record.

     The Accumulator Update dialog box opens.

     

4. Select the Time Stamp date and time.

5. Enter the Adjusted Count and Volume.

6. Enter the reason for the change in the Reason for Update field.

7. Select Add/Modify.

8. Select Dismiss.

   When a new record is added, a status of M is provided to indicate that the record has been added manually. This status is as shown on the Status field on the Accumulator Hour Editor.
