Note: For information on overriding default configuration settings, refer to Modify configuration settings.
In order to prevent safety-related alarms from being acknowledged when using the Page Acknowledge button on some of the alarm summary displays in the easy eXtended Operator Station (ezXOS), the SkipCriticalSafetyAlarmAck key must be enabled.
To configure the SkipCriticalSafetyAlarmAck key
-
In the %DNADataRoot%\RealTime\config\Settings directory, either create or open the RealTime_XOSDisplayUtilities.json file.
The following example shows the default content of the RealTime_XOSDisplayUtilities.json file:
{
"RealTime": {
"SkipCriticalSafetyAlarmAck": "DISABLE"
}
}
-
Change the value of "SkipCriticalSafetyAlarmAck" from "DISABLE" to "ENABLE".
-
Save the file.
-
Restart the RealTime service.
Note: This value also affects Critical alarms. Refer to Configure the alarm page acknowledgement to skip critical alarms for more information.
