Configure the Protocol Pass-Through Interface

The interface is configured through the Protocol Pass Through Interface tab in the remote Row Edit dialog box. The Remote Row Edit dialog box is opened through the remote table listing in Advanced Database Editor (ADE). For general information on ADE, and further information on the remote table, refer to the Advanced Database Editor (ADE) Administrator documentation and volume 1 of the RealTime Administrator documentation, respectively.

To configure the Protocol Pass-Through Interface

1. Navigate to the Pass Through Interface tab in the remote Row Edit dialog box.

   

2. Select Enable to allow third-party applications to access data within the remote record.

3. In the Port field, enter the TCP/IP port that the third-party application connects to on the RealTime server.

4. In the Priority field, select the priority of requests sent to the pass through remote:

   • Low

   • Medium

   • High

5. In the Mode field, select whether the pass through remote accepts Single or Multi(ple) connections.
