Configure alternative alarm limits

The second step in setting up alternative alarm limits involves creating an almlimit record. Each almlimit record contains a set of alternative alarm limits referenced by the almlimitset record.

Almlimit records are stored in the almlimit table, and configured and edited using the tabs on the almlimit Row Edit dialog box within the Advanced Database Editor (ADE). For general information on ADE and how to create records, refer to the Advanced Database Editor (ADE) Administrator documentation.

To configure alternative alarm limits

1. In the ADE, select View > Realtime and open the almlimit Table Edit dialog box.

   

2. Refer to the following sections for information on configuring the tabs on the almlimit Row Edit dialog box:
