Control Room Management (CRM) Notes

The Control Room Management (CRM) Notes application allows for a more formalized process of shift change, as well as the tracking of Abnormal Operating Conditions (AOC).

One of the primary purposes of CRM Notes is to assist Controllers with the exchange of shift change information during the turnover process. By categorizing events with CRM Notes, the following items may be easily communicated during a shift change:

• Emergency/AOC

• Relevant daily (shift) operational information

• Status of scheduled/unscheduled maintenance activities

• Incident/Safety conditions

• Alarm reviews and analysis
