You can use the Management of Change (MoC) Package tool (dnapackage) to view the contents of an MoC package.

To view the contents of an MoC package

  1. On the desktop, double-click the Windows PowerShell for DNA shortcut.

    Windows PowerShell for DNA opens.

  2. Execute the following commands:

    set-silo RealTime

    dnapackage view --package <package file path> [--changeset <changeset id>] [--type <type>]

Note: Optionally, you can view the details of a particular changeset by specifying the <changeset id> and <type>. These arguments must be specified together.

    Where:

    • --package <package file path> is the fully qualified path to the package file you want to use.

    • --changeset <changeset id> (if specified) will provide additional details for the given changeset, rather than a summary of the package.

Note: The value of the <changeset id> will depend on the format specified by the datatype provider.

    • --type <type> is the name of the datatype provider to which the changeset belongs.

Note: The current valid values are realtime or display.

The dnapackage view --package MoCPackage.pkg command would result in the following example output:

Package Title: "My Package Title"

Package Description: "Description of changes in package"

Changesets:

1: {RealTime}. "RealTime Set 1"

2: {RealTime}. "RealTime Set 2"

1: {Display}. "Display Set 1"

2: {Display}. "Display Set 2"
