Enable tagging

Note: For information on overriding default configuration settings, refer to Modify configuration settings.

To enable tagging

1. In the %DNADataRoot%\RealTime\config\Settings directory, either create or open the RealTime.json file.

2. Change the value of the following key to false:

   "RealTime" > "USE_FLEXIBLE_TAGGING": true

3. Save the file.

4. Restart the RealTime service by shutting it down in the Network Management Console (NMC), then starting it again.

   The next time you start the easy eXtended Operation Station (ezXOS) and select the Tags System Display, the Tag Summary will appear instead of the FlexTag Summary.
