The PI Path Selector dialog box allows you to select a RealTime database (RTDB) point for collection in PI.โโ
When you select the Table dropdown menu, it shows a list of table names that is available in the current system. This list of table names is supplied by running the BLT component GetTablesWithFieldname.

Table |
The RTDB table where the point is located. |

Record |
A record is all information associated with a single point; this information may be displayed in a single row, multiple rows in a single table, or in rows throughout multiple tables. In PI, it is the specific row in the table that is configured for Historical collection. |

Field |
The point field where the data is being measured and collected. |
|
Extended Descriptor |
In the PI Template table, the Extended Descriptor field is shown as exdes. |

Current |
The value of Table, Record, and Field fields of the current point that is being recorded multiplied by the Extended Descriptor. |
