Create a Decode Template for the upload of daily meter history

Follow this procedure to create a Decode Template for the upload of Daily Meter history.

To create a Decode Template for the upload of daily meter history

1. Open the Data Payload Processor (DPP) Config Tool window (refer to Open the Data Payload Processor (DPP) Config Tool window).

   

2. Select the Template Define tab.

   

3. Select New > New Decode Template.

   The New Decode Template dialog box opens.

   

4. In the Template Name field, enter Xmodbus Upload Accum Daily History.

5. In the Template Description field, enter Xmodbus Upload Meter Daily History - Accum.

6. In the Stored Procedure field, select Daily Meter Reading.

7. Select Save.

   The following occurs:

   • DPP generates a list of all the usable parameters in Decode Method format for the procedure selected in Step 6.

   • The Decode Method Template dialog box opens with these generated parameters.

     

8. Following the manufacturer's user documentation on the accumulator protocol reply message, configure each parameter as required.
