Rtstring function puts

The rtstring table provides two function puts that allow for writing a string value to remotes that support string registers. The syntax is as follows:
Fnput rtstring.<rtstring name> "setval <string value> [CONFIRMED] [CMDAUTO]"
Fnput rtstring.<rtstring name> "setstring <string value> [CONFIRMED] [CMDAUTO]"
Note the following:
-
Since the value string can include CMDAUTO as its substring, this may result in incorrect parsing of the function put command. To avoid this situation, the following rules exist:
-
When CMDAUTO is all uppercase, the system interprets it as a keyword.
-
When CMDAUTO is either lower case or mixed case, the system interprets it as part of the value string.
Note: This behavior is not consistent with analog, status, and multistate commands.

Examples
-
Fnput rtstring.test "setval valve cmdauto" - the string sent will be "valve cmdauto".
-
Fnput rtstring.test "setval valve CMDAUTO" - the string sent will be "valve" and the function put will be interpreted as an automatic command.
