The DALUtilities.GetConfigItem() and DALUtilities.GetSystemConfigItem() methods require that you call the DALService.Initialize() method first to initialize the Data Access Layer (DAL) service with the DAL configuration.
DALService.Initialize()
Initialize the DAL service with the current process name that uses both the DAL service and the default control_room config folder:
Main ()
{
DALService.Initialize();
……
var value = DALUtilities.GetSystemConfigItem("es", "RealTime", "BLT", "HostName", null);
}
DALService.Initialize(String applicationName)
Initialize the DAL service with the specified application name that uses both the DAL service and the default control_room config folder:
Main ()
{
DALService.Initialize("AdminPager");
……
var value = DALUtilities.GetSystemConfigItem("es", "RealTime", "BLT", "HostName", null);
}
DALService.Initialize(String foldername, String applicationName)
Initialize the DAL service with the configuration information in both the specified configuration folder and the specified application name that uses the DAL service:
Main ()
{
DALService.Initialize("es\control_room", "AdminPager");
……
var value = DALUtilities.GetSystemConfigItem("es", "RealTime", "BLT", "HostName", null);
}
