Configure the startup scripts

Business Logic Tier (BLT) component applications should be configured to start when the associated service starts.

If the BLT Component applications start when the associated service starts, it ensures that the AVEVA Enterprise SCADA system will monitor the health of the application. It also ensures that the application will be shut down properly when the service stops (allowing you to update the component DLLs). Each service has run_processes scripts located under the %DNAInstallRoot%\RealTime\scripts\<servicename> directory. The run_processes script for your service should include code to start up the BLT component application. The following is an example of the run_processes.csc file in the %DNAInstallRoot%\RealTime\scripts\RealTime directory after starting the BLTHost.exe:
