The ApplyFieldRules attribute in the RemoveEnumsTableEdit plugin has no impact on the plugin's behavior, whether it is set to true or false. This only applies to the Table Edit form. To have the change apply to both the Row Edit and Table edit forms, use the RemoveEnumsField plugin instead. The RemoveEnumsField plugin will remove the enumerations from both forms.
The TableEditFormPlugIn element is nested under the DataSetTable element. Use this plugin to specify the constraints at the beginning of the XML file for the Table Edit form if the ApplyFiledRules attribute is set to true.
The parameters are as follows:
-
Name="RemoveEnumsTableEdit".
-
Args, which takes the following format:
field1(enum1, enum2, etc.), field2(enum3, enum4, etc.), ...
Where:
-
field1, field 2, etc. are the column names.
-
For example, the following code removes the calculated and telemetered elements from the Point Type column.
<DataSetTable
Name="farms"
.
.
<TableEditFormPlugIn Name="RemoveEnumsTableEdit" Args="pointtype(calculated,telemetered)" />
