Note: For information on overriding default configuration settings, see Modify configuration settings.
Follow the procedure below to configure a timeout value for a process to obtain a lock on a table queue. By default, the timeout value is set to 300 milliseconds.
Note: Only adjust this value if the following message appears repeatedly in the oasErrLog.log file: Timed out trying to lock DataExport.<table name>.
To override the timeout value
-
In the %DNADataRoot%\RealTime\config\Settings directory, either create or open the RealTime_DataExport.json file.
-
In the DataExport section under RealTime, add a QueueLockTimeOutMs key with a value greater than 0:
"QueueLockTimeOutMs": 400
The following example shows a configuration file with a queue lock timeout value set to 400 milliseconds.
{
"RealTime": {
"DataExport": {
"QueueLockTimeOutMs": 400
}
}
}
-
Save the file.
-
Restart the RealTime service.
