To view MultiLogViewer files

Under the View menu there are several options to view MultiLogViewer files:

• Reverse Output — switches the chronological sort order to show oldest to most recent within the MergePage tab.

  Note: The Reverse View icon performs the same function as the Reverse Output menu command.

• Pause Display — temporarily halts or restarts automatic updates.

  Note: The Play/Pause icon performs the same function.

• Clear Display — removes entries on the currently active display. This does not modify the actual log files, only the way they are displayed.

  Note: Each tab has its own set of Display Settings. The output is dependent on the active tab context.

• Display Setttings — the HtmlDisplay Configuration dialog box includes Number of Messages and text Color Properties for each file opened within the Merge tab.

  Note: Select Set Color to set a specific color for any given tab.

  

• Filter Configuration — the RawFileDisplay Configuration dialog box allows you to set the text properties of the log in a RawFiles tab. You can specify the Number of Lines shown and turn on Word Wrap and Reverse Chronological Order.

  Filter Configuration allows you to further manipulate the files being viewed:

  • Selected lines can be displayed from within any tab, with the exception of RawFiles.

  • Each tab maintains its own text filter settings.

  • Filters can be made of text fields or Regular Expressions.

  • Entering an empty Filter Expression field will restore the display to an unfiltered state.
