Identify alarms using alarm auditing

To aid in the identification of alarms presented to the Controller, you can enable alarm auditing. You must enable writing to the Alarm Audit (almaudit) table to use this feature. For more information, refer to Disable writing to the Alarm Audit (almaudit) table.

The almaudit table provides detailed Historical information about alarm entries as they appear on the Alarm Summary display.

Note: The event table is also useful for examining alarms, but may not have as extensive information as found in the almaudit table, such as the alarm category.
