This section outlines the Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) in use with RealTime. This document is intended to help guide new users of the RealTime database (RTDB) Object Model Application Programming Interface (API) over the initial learning curve involved in using this API. It explains the terms, how some features work, and provides some sample code.
Important: Unmanaged code must be recompiled after an upgrade. AVEVA recommends using managed code for applications developed against AVEVA Enterprise SCADA APIs.
