Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) Events and Alarms configuration allows you to create custom event messages based upon the message type or message code generated by the RTU, and then classify and distribute these messages to the Gas history database in a meaningful and consistent manner.
Proto_event_grp and proto_event records help in classifying the different types of events and alarms generated by RTUs.
The following protocols make use of these records:
-
Bristol Standard Asynchronous Protocol (BSAP) Legacy Driver for OASyS
-
Bristol Standard Asynchronous Protocol (BSAP) Driver with Configurable Gas Load (CGL) for OASyS
-
Extended Modbus (Xmodbus) Protocol Driver for OASyS
-
Fisher Remote Operations Controller (ROC)/Fisher Remote Operations Controller (ROC) Plus Driver with Configurable Gas Load (CGL) for OASyS
-
